Да, рука только скользит, а мешь цевья не перемещается.
А насчет свечения руки, не беда, кожу потемнее можно сделать. Ещё микробамп кожный добавлю.

in your *.pk2:
1. You are using the "skin_helloween.tga", but fx-file is "skin.fx" :) Rename it to "skin_helloween.fx".
2. folder "models\weapons\g_machn\" has not any *.fx, just add "skin_helloween.fx".

А возможно ли как-то этот мешь цевья привести в действие?
На счёт рук всё ясно. Но, мне кажется, выглядят они как-то, не очень. Вот на супер шотгане руки зачёт)

Hey Berserker if you are around here I need some help!

First I would like to ask you if you can explain a little bit the skin.fx file, is it some kind of shader plugin or what?
In which ways can be used? Etc...

The second question I have is about the bloom effect. Is it possible to turn of this effect on the skin of the hands only?

I have finished the new hands model and animation but I'm still working on the hands texture and some detayls.

About *.fx: this is effects description file.
Tokens:
fx chrome - chrome effect, uses image and scale
fx power - power effect, uses image, scroll and scale
fx map - texture mapping effect, uses image, scroll and scale
fx distort - distortion effect, uses image, scroll and scale
fx style - intensity flickering, like as light styles, uses color, cl_style and style

image textures/env/rg_power - path to texture of effect
scroll s t - scroll texture along s and t axis
scale s t - scale texture s and t axis
style n - number of style
cl_style n - number of client style
color r g b - color
detailbump textures/details/det9_bump.tga - path to detailed bump map
detailscale n - scale of detailed bump map
nodetailbump - disables detailed bump map
material materials/glass1 - path to material description file
rotate n - texture rotating speed. Texture coordinates must be from 0 to 1 in quadratic surface. Using for md3 or ase skins.
mirror - switch on mirror effect, works for surfaces, which has normal.z = 0, -1 or 1
trans33 - force transparency 33%, for md3 skins
trans66 - force transparency 66%, for md3 skins
For alpha-channel textures (RGBA):
parallax - switch on parallax effect, not for skins!
alphatest - enables alpha-test.
castshadow - forces shadow casting for "fence" textures on brush-models

See "Tex&Mdl.doc" (Russian) for more details...

About bloom: no, you can't disable bloom for selected part of scene. This is a post effect, affects on whole scene.

So in the end, I need the fx file just for the onscreen gun model right?

Hope that tomorrow will upload the new machine gun. I'm realy satisfied with the outcome of new hands.
Also I made a new texture for hands. It is realy the best I can do at this moment.

Thanks Berserker, your opinion is very important to me!

For the next thing I have a wish to make a monster, I had a few thoughts about the Flyer...
I will also continue with weapons, but this time with ID's feeling at least I hope I can achive that!

Hope that at the end of May I can go on with work....
