It now works like a breeze, thanks! : )<br />Secondly, hunkmegs and zonemegs did not solve the problem.. Also a small correction, it reads : "Awaiting connection... 0" not gamestate, my bad.. Shall I tinker around with higher values? I used 1.47 and 1.48 (latest) versions of CPMA<br /><br />Also I owe you a log from the x1400 laptop, which I will be providing to you shortly..<br />(q3b cfg was never touched, other than the addition of "sv_pure 0")<br /><br />PS: I get next weekend to tinker with the secondary desktop again, so now I'll be experimenting on my nvidia based hardware and see what we get..<br /><br />[EDIT] Here's the log you asked for: http://hotfile.com/dl/72139905/7a87637/q3b_console.log.html<br />(I'm afraid that the laptop might have outdated drivers also, but anyhow, next weekend I'll be able to test all the possible cases.. :p)<br /><br />Many thanks, your help has been of great value.. Unfortunatelly, notebook manufacturers (like Fujitsu-Siemens) have locked the drivers down to catalyst 8.5 and I can't get to update them even if I try to mod them.. >:(<br />So the notebook is out of the question permanently, and we're down to the two desktops..<br /><br />Regarding the CPMA now: Log<br /><br />(Tomorrow [unfortunatelly I couldn't manage to go today] I'll get to tinker with my other rig and tell you if this behavior happens there too)

(which I have here, yep I got my main rig now :p) But it didn't cross my mind, since I tried to load q3dm6.. lol.. It runs very smoothly on my 8800GTS and I get over 200 fps, with ppl set to 1..<br />Also I've been toying around with the resolution, and after some research (finding out that q3 doesn't like some aspect ratios), I thought I'd mess with something random.. So at least for me, the way to get an unchopped 1280x1024 screen are the following commands<br /><br />\r_mode -1<br />\r_customheight 960<br />\r_customwidth 1280<br />\vid_restart (to apply them)<br /><br />These do the trick nicelly.. ; )

Где можно скачать последнюю версию без наворотов на голый Q3 чтобы пошла на слабых машинах?

имей ввиду, что "слабая машина" это обязательная поддержка GLSL, и конечно же, VBO, иначе просто нет смысла.<br />у GT-Agressora на сайте. И он вроде недавно ссылку на последний .exe выкладывал.
