It has been a long time since I checked the Forum. I re-installed Quake 2 and q2xp126q.exe, then added music.pkx ( zip fro music\track01.wav...). Everything works great with WindowsXP machine. <br /><br />I started playing "The Ulysses Project". I had forgotten how much fun Quake2 is!<br /><br />I installed q2xp1261.exe and the music does not play. What did i do wrong?

No music from .wav files on Hard drive. I am using music.pkx ( zip file for music\track01.wav...) in directory \baseq2<br /><br />File music.pkx works with previous versions of q2xp<br /><br />I am not using a CD<br /><br />set cd_volume "1.0"<br />set cd_loopcount "25"<br />set cd_nocd "0"<br />set cd_drive "e"<br />set crosshairScale "0.666"<br />set s_distance_model "0"<br />set s_quality "0"<br />set s_openal_eax "0"<br />set s_openal_device ""<br />set s_musicvolume "0.8"<br />set s_volume "1"<br /><br />No Worries, q2xp126q.exe runs great - "The Ulysses Project" has several maps and I am staying alive!

Cool! I am looking around in my stuff to find you .dll file that support "The Reckoning" and "Ground Zero". What I like about q2xp is that I can play most of the SP maps (user-made) without adjusting light-maps.
