Hi!
I'm sorry, I don't speak Russian (and I don't speak English good too, I'm 14 from Italy)
I've downloaded B@Q2 and I've updated it.
It's a really nice engine! I think it's the best engine for quake2 (the only "pity" is that it doesn't support mission packs! :) )
It has really nice effects! I don't know if only I get this, but when I shoot with the hyperblaster I get the same old "laser" (SORRY).

Is this normal?
I want to use some better lights, like the one in KMQ2 or in Q2Evolved.
Well, can I copy the light of one of these engine in a .pk2 of Berserker?
If yes, how to do it????

berserkerQuake 2 support mission packs- type in console net_compatibility 1 and as usually-set game 'MP folder'.

i have this problem too, it is problem with packs. the easiest way to correct it is delete all files except tris.md2 from _BersPak0.pk2\models\proj\beam\

and see your purepacks.lst - this folder may be in other packs.

i think no, but it is question for Berserker-i am not developer of this project(i am only 14 year old, and don't know any languages of programming ;D ;D)

Hello Drack!
Bers@Q2 supports mods:
1. run Berserker.exe with Quake2 net-protocol support:
berserker.exe +set net_compatibility 1 +set game <modName>
2. Menu: multiplayer / start <modName> server / select 'Inintial map', then 'Begin'

Current official build of Bers@Q2 does not can save/load game for this case. But, I made save/load game avalilability in my test build. Please wait the next official update!
PS: Mods (mission paks) have not re-light and re-texture now, so you will see the dark game levels.

I use my own paks, from site, and have not this problem

Thanks, Berserker and madarexx (14 too, I started to play Q2 when I was 3).

My blaster's effect look like your one, it's my hyperblaster's effects that looks "old".
This is not a big problem, I want only know if it was my pak.

I've Berskerker v1.26, I've downloaded all the pk2 from the website, but my weapons are different from yours! You've a really nice blaster!

Where to download it? I didn't find it on this site!

(When I type net_compatibility 1 it say that I cannot change it.(something like that)

This cvar selects, what net-protocol will be used. You can set this cvar in command line only, not in console:
berserker.exe +set net_compatibility 1

Sorry people, madarexx and Drack, I deleted the directory /B@Q2_stuff to make room for Quake1 files. http://www-personal.umich.edu/~jimw/ClassicFPS/Darkplaces/ I am almost done with diffuse and normal .TGAs from the texture wad ikbase.wad
